Richard A. Haugh, 80, of Tiffin, died at 2:56 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at his residence.
Richard was born May 21, 1932, in Tiffin, to Rollo Ray and Mercedes M. (Shumway) Haugh. He first married Gloria (Fiala) who survives in Tiffin and later married Virginia (Walter) who survives in Fostoria.
Other survivors include his four children, Sharon (Bill) Wasem of Wakeman, Ted (Karen) Haugh of Tiffin, Dottie (Jerry) Smith of New Riegel and Brenda (Bil) Danner of Indianapolis, Ind.; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three brothers, Lewis Haugh of Tiffin, Garry Haugh of Fremont and Bill Haugh of Pocahontas, Ark.; and a sister, Virginia Fowler of Tiffin.
Richard was a lifelong farmer and car salesman. He was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, the UCOA club of Findlay, and Hopewell First Church of God, Tiffin. Richard enjoyed good food, antique cars, playing cards, gardening, attending family reunions and traveling to all 50 states. Richard was a 1950 graduate from Hopewell-Loudon High School, later attended Findlay College and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's degree in business.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim Haugh; and a sister, Joanne Miller.
His funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, 135 N. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-1221, with Pastor Terry Steinhauer Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Sandridge Cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
