Lloyd C. Robinson, 73, of Fostoria, passed away at 4:20 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at St. Catherine's Manor, Fostoria.
He was born Nov. 14, 1939, in Tiffin, to Lloyd and Dorothy (Lidster) Robinson. He married Aurora "Birdie" Bernal Feb. 23, 1991, in Fostoria, and she survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving are Lloyds' children, Deb Robinson of Tiffin, Denise (John) Baker of Georgia, Dawn Robinson of Powell and John (Stacy) Robinson of Tiffin; two stepdaughters, Lisa (Douglas) Cheeks and Linda (Herbert) Hatter, both of Fostoria; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and six siblings, Alora Springer of Gladwin, Mich., Christina (Phillip) Bigelow of Traverse City, Mich., Evelyn Ogden of Midland, Mich., Duane (Nancy) Robinson and Tom (Sue) Robinson, both of Tiffin, and Jim (Karen) Robinson of Upper Sandusky.
He also was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, William and Jerry Robinson.
Lloyd attended Tiffin Schools before entering the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, motorcycling and was an avid golfer. Woodworking and winemaking also were among his many hobbies. He had made many lifelong friendships through his years working at Honeywell, Fostoria, from which he retired in 1996.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria.
His funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Myers presiding.
A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mexico Cemetery, Wyandot County, where military honors will be rendered by the United Veterans of Fostoria.
