Shell Shuckers restaurant, US 224 and SR 53, will be closed today and Monday for remodeling. It is to reopen Tuesday, and a grand opening is to be scheduled later.
"We'll have a soft opening Tuesday and a grand opening a week or so after that when the menu is finalized," said owner Rob Wagner.
"We just bought the restaurant in July," he said. "It needed a facelift and we just wanted to bring some new ideas in."
In addition to men changes, the restaurant is getting a new look with paint and sports memorabilia on the walls.
"We have new tablecloths," he said. "Everything is new."
