This letter puts forward some vital parameters that the press and government people rarely talk about when discussing gun control. First, they jump on the idea of removing guns from the population. However, they rarely discuss the subjects of our negative press, violent Hollywood movies, trashy TV programs, violent video games and our overrated mental health profession which does not perform its responsibility by advising patients of the potential danger from prescription drugs.
As everyone knows, guns don't kill people, but a disturbed person with a gun can kill people. Instead, mental health professionals knowingly prescribe mind-altering drugs with violent side effects, knowing full well these drugs may cause their patient to become violent and use guns or any weapon to kill people.
These people can pass a background check to buy guns?
Who benefits? The drug makers, the press, the TV and game industries.
