Bloomville OKs pumps

BLOOMVILLE?- Bloomville village council gathered Wednesday evening for an abbreviated meeting.

Street Superintendent Rick Dentinger said chemical feed pumps for the pool were quoted at $1,219.94, with two pumps needed. Council motioned to pass for the purchase of the pumps.

Chief Howard Minzer asked for council's input for a new police department computer, due to the current computer being 8-10 years old. Councilwoman Tracy Meadows volunteered to help Minzer browse computers for the one that may suit the department's needs.

In other news, council discussed:

An ordinance about the employee handbook, more to be discussed at the next meeting.

Pay ordinances passed and paid.

Town hall will be closed Monday and Tuesday.

In closing, Bloomville council went into executive session to discuss employee compensation for the employee handbook.

Council is to meet at 7 p.m. March 20 at Bloomville town hall.
