Norberto V. Barrera, 82, of rural Green Springs, died at Stein Hospice in Sandusky Saturday, March 16, 2013.
Mr. Barrera was born April 20, 1930, in Texas, to the now deceased Crisoforo and Elodia Barrera. He married Reynalda Zepeda April 11, 1950.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Diana (Ken) Cheek, and a son, Alex (Missi) Barrera, both of Clyde; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Delia (Moises) Hernandez and Fidel Barrera, of Gibsonburg.
Mr. Barrera was preceded in death by two infants; a grandson; and three siblings, Amalia Campbell, Albert Barrera and Bertha Lopez.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the funeral home with Sister Regina Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
