Patricia A. ‘Pat’ Davidson

Patricia A. "Pat" Davidson, 83, formerly of rural Wharton, died at 1:03 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Fairhaven Community, Upper Sandusky, where she had resided the past eight years.

She was born Aug. 25, 1929, in Chicago, daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Farley) Fox. Pat married Edward T. Davidson Oct. 7, 1950, at Our Lady of Consolation Church in Carey. He preceded her in death July 25, 1999.

Surviving are four children, Thomas (Barb) Davidson of rural Wharton, Lynn (Gary) Dwyer of Columbus, Carla (Phillip) Orians of Upper Sandusky and Cassie (Alan) Krautsack of Florence, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and siblings Harry A. Fox of Upper Sandusky, Kathryn Sullenberger of Port Clinton, Mike (Shirley) Fox of Fallon, Nev., and Paul Fox of Toledo.

Preceding her in death are a daughter, Setina; a sister, Virginia Beckley; an infant sister, Mary Fox; and three brothers, Carl, John "Jack" and Pete Fox.

Pat worked at Swan Rubber in Carey for 18 years and Westinghouse/A.O. Smith in Upper Sandusky for 18 years. She, along with her husband, owned and operated the Lovell Market for 24 years.

She was a member of the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey.

A 1948 graduate of Carey High School, Pat was a life member of VFW 3759 in Carey. She was a former member of the Rosary Altar Society.

Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey, where a rosary service will be at 7:45 p.m.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation Church in Carey, with the Rev. J.R. Hadnagy OFM Conv. officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Salem Township near Upper Sandusky.

Memorial contributions may be made to Salem St. Joseph Heritage Society, Hospice of Wyandot County or Fairhaven Community in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey, OH 43316.
