Gertrude Floy Windau, 94, of Fostoria, died Friday, March 22, 2013, at Independence House in Fostoria.
She was born April 8, 1918, in Fostoria, to the late William and Clara (Frankenfield) Miller. She married Gerald John Windau and he survives her.
Also surviving are her daughter, Kathy (Ken) Herman; and son, Gerald P. (Kathi) Windau, both of Fostoria; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a brother, William V. (Marge) Miller, Fostoria.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lois Miller.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, where a Christian wake service will be held at 3:45 p.m.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, where a Rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery.
