Lauren Wolfe, 94, of Bellevue, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at The Willows.
Mr. Wolfe was born July 15, 1918, in Bellevue, to Clayton and Ethel (Engler) Wolfe. During World War II, he served in the Army with the 756th Tank Battalion in Germany. He married Elverna Downing Jan. 26, 1940, and she preceded him in death March 31, 2006.
Survivors include a son, Wayne Wolfe of Baltimore, Md.; and a brother, Paul Wolfe, and sister, Eileen Meyer, both of Bellevue.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue.
Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Diane Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Flat Rock/Bishop Seybert Cemetery with military rites provided by Bellevue American Legion, VFW and Four County Marines.
