COMMUNITY DAY: Heidelberg will host free Community Day events prior to the April 6 softball doubleheader with Muskingum at Jocko Huffman Field in Hedges-Boyer Park, and the April 14 baseball doubleheader with Mount Union at Peaceful Valley. The April 6 event starts at 1 p.m., and the April 14 event starts at noon. Young fans can also run the bases and get player autographs after the doubleheaders. In case of inclement weather, the Community Day events will occur in Seiberling Gymnasium.
SPRING FLING: The Calvert Athletic Boosters Spring Fling is April 20 at the Knights of Columbus. Doors open at 4 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m., Texas Hold 'Em at 6:30 p.m. and a reverse raffle at 7 p.m. Admission is free, but you must be 21 to enter. Reverse raffle tickets are $70 each. Grand prize is $2,000. Only 200 tickets will be sold
