Kenneth E. McCarley, 70, of South Sycamore Avenue, Sycamore, died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in the emergency room of Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.
He was born Jan. 11, 1943, in Fostoria, to Clifton and Mildred (Valenti) McCarley. He married Janet (Krupp) Therriault and they later divorced. He then married Linda (Wagner) McCarley in September 1983 and she survives.
Also surviving are four children, Amie (Allen) Ashby of Fostoria, Lorie (Johnnie) Stevenson of Florida, Tracy (Jeff) Watson of rural McCutchenville and James E. Marquart of Sycamore; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, James (Phyllis) McCarley of Fostoria.
Kenneth was retired from Atlas Crankshaft, Fostoria, and also was a graduate of Fostoria High School. He was a former member of the Sycamore Fire Department and EMS. For hobbies, Kenneth loved to watch The Ohio State University football and basketball teams on TV. He also loved to sit on his front porch swing with his two dogs, Juby and Riggs.
A funeral for Kenneth will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
