dsp The Advertiser-Tribune

Two children were transported to the hospital after an accident involving a semi-truck on South SR 53 Monday evening. Wyandot County sheriff's deputy Brandon Kromer said a Dodge Durango had been turning into a driveway in the 5000 block of South SR 53 when it was struck by a semi-truck. Two young children in the back of the SUV were transported to Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Kromer said. They did not suffer major injuries, he said, and had been buckled up properly. The semi-truck driver was treated at the scene. Kromer said McCutchenville and Sycamore firefighters along with Upper Sandusky EMS responded to the accident.
