Lindell Brown

Lindell Brown, 71, of Marion-Melmore Road, Sycamore, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.

He was born Jan. 4, 1942, in Carbon Glow, Ky., to Charlie and Alma (Johnson) Brown. He married Judith Kelley Aug. 24, 1970, and they later divorced. He then married Nancy (Moses) Tschanen May 12, 1984, and she died July 27, 2009.

Surviving are three children, Christine McConnell of Cambridge, Lin (Michelle) Brown of Carydon, Ind., and Tania Elkins of Palmyrs, Ind.; two stepsons, Chris (Michelle) Tschanen and David Tschanen and special friend, Penny Lane, all of rural Sycamore; 11 grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren.

Mr. Brown was a United States Army veteran.

A memorial graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Woodlawn Cemetery, rural Bloomville, with the Rev. Charles McGlone officiating. The Sycamore American Legion Post No. 250 will conduct a military graveside service.
