FOSTORIA - Four fire departments responded to a house fire north of Fostoria Thursday night.
Crews remained at the scene and smoke continued to pour from the residence at 5989 N. US 23 around 11 p.m. Thursday.
The house is located in Seneca County's Jackson Township. US 23 is the dividing line between Seneca and Wood counties, and Wood County Sheriff's Office received the report of the fire at 9:46 p.m.

A Wood County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman said she believed the homeowner reported it. Everyone was out of the home, she said.
Bradner, Kansas, Risingsun and West Millgrove fire departments, Bradner EMS and Seneca County Sheriff's Office responded to the fire, spokeswomen from the Seneca and Wood county sheriff's offices said.
American Electric Power and American Red Cross were requested at the scene.
The Seneca County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman said she was not aware of any injuries Thursday night.
