Sharron Kennedy

Sharron R. Kennedy, 70, of Benton Ridge, died at 9:50 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.

She was born Oct. 3, 1942, in Findlay, to Raymond B. and Eloise (Leach) Stevenson. She married Marvin E. Kennedy Jr. and he survives.

Sharron is survived by her father, Raymond B. Stevenson of Findlay; her daughters, Dawn Clagg of Benton Ridge, Barbra (Dan) Depinet of Tiffin and Heather (Shawn) McFarland of Findlay; her sister, Irma Seaholm of Powell; her five grandchildren, Cassaundra (Carl) Fryman of Plymouth, Tim Clagg of Benton Ridge, Shaughna Brock of Perrysburg, Courtney Parker of Findlay and Emma McFarland of Findlay; her great-grandson, Connor Fryman of Plymouth; her brother-in-law, Keith (Marlene) Kennedy of Benton Ridge; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Lou (Gene) Schoonover of Benton Ridge and Shirley Kennedy of Findlay.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eloise Stevenson; her son-in-law, Tom Clagg; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marvin Sr. and Caroline (Shulaw) Kennedy; her brothers-in-law, Harold "Jack" Kennedy and Charles Kennedy; and her sister-in-law, Regina Kennedy.

Sharron was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Benton Ridge, where she was in the choir, taught both vacation Bible school and Sunday school, and was in the WSCS Women's Group. She formerly worked for United Appraisal Company, Patterson's Department Store, Fit Right Shop and Fashion Bug. She was a Benton Ridge Park booster. Sharron loved vacationing in Branson, Mo., and Pigeon Forge, Tenn., going to the movies, working outside in her flower beds, and puzzle books, but her greatest love was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandson.

Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay.

A funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, with Pastor Richard Rakay officiating. Burial will be in Benton Ridge Cemetery, Blanchard Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
