Lucille C. Frankart, 94, of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday evening, May 22, 2013, at Toledo Hospital, Toledo.
She was born April 26, 1919, in Seneca County, to Charles John and Jessica A. (Leitner) Christophory. She married Francis "Dutch" Frankart Nov. 6, 1945, at St. Peters Catholic Church, Alvada, and he preceded her in death July 22, 1993.
Left to cherish Lucille's memory are her four children, William "Bill" (Cindy) Frankart of Alvada, Mary Ann (Howard) Elchert of New Riegel, Linda (Doc) Henley of Fostoria and Eileen Wilkinson of Findlay; seven grandchildren, Rhonda (Marshall) McGeath, Chad (Shanna) Elchert, Michelle Emerine, Jennifer (Brandon Werling) Henley, Heather Henley, Michael Frankart, Brian Wilkinson and Angie (Mike) Powell; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark Frankart; a daughter, Laura Frankart; and two sisters, Rosemary Peiffer and Helen Christophory.
Lucille helped her partner in life, her husband, on the farm. They were a team. She had worked at various factories, including Bersted, Fostoria, and Gem Manufacturing, Bascom, but also worked various positions at Meadowbrook, Bascom. Lucille loved to do word puzzle books along with crocheting in her leisure time. A gracious lady, Lucille was a special friend, very caring and loving.
Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Monday, May 27, 2013, at Hoening Funeral Home, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria.
Her Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at St. Peters chapel, Alvada, with her nephew, Fr. Jim Peiffer, and Fr.Tim Kummerer concelebrating. A rosary will be prayed at 10:15 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery.
