The top three hitters in the Midland Athletic League landed in the top spots on the Division IV All-Ohio baseball team.
Lakota's Tiger Jaso, Seneca East's Dalton Wise and Hopewell-Loudon's Garret Sendelbach each earned first-team honors in a poll voted on by the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association.
All Jaso did this year to earn an infield spot was hit .672, 199 points ahead of second place Sendelbach (.473). Jaso led the league in stolen bases (29) and hits (39).
Sendelbach earned a spot in the All-Ohio outfield for his 35 hits, including three doubles and 20 RBIs.
Wise hit .459 on the year, leading the league with 11 doubles. He scored 28 runs.
Two of Wise's teammates made the second team: pitcher Mason McWilliams and infielder Ethan Caudill.
McWilliams was second in the league in strikeouts with 85 over 51 innings pitched. He compiled a 7-1 record while walking just 12 and garnering a 1.24 ERA.
Caudill hit .433 with 25 runs, 14 stolen bases and seven doubles.
New Riegel's Andrew Hohman earned honorable mention with a .430 batting average, 34 hits and 25 steals.
