The Great American Backyard Campout is June 22. Campers are welcome to camp free at Wolf Creek Park Campground, 2701 SR 53, Fremont, for the one-night, nationwide event that encourages families to get outside and sleep under the stars.
Moonlight Canoeing is planned for 8 p.m. June 22-24. Meet at the park office, 1970 Countryside Place, Fremont.

"Wet & Wild" week is 9 a.m.-noon June 24-28 at Creek Bend Farm, 654 S. Main, Lindsey. Children ages 6-12 should dress to get wet and wild as naturalists lead the exploration of woods, creek, grasslands and other habitats. Call (419) 334-4495 to register.
A Hands-On Nature open house is 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Discovery Center, featuring the mammals of Ohio. Learn how to identify wildlife tracks, scat, bones and furs at various learning stations.
The preserve is at 1400 Oakwoods Lane, Findlay.
Wee Ones are to learn about ponds and lakes at Shank Lake at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. or 7 p.m. Monday. Recommended for children ages 3 and younger with an adult companion, the program includes a story, activities and a craft about ponds and lakes.
Registration with a $15 fee is required by Wednesday for a leaf printing and pressing workshop to take place 7-9 p.m. June 24 at Brugeman Lodge, Riverbend Recreation Area. Learn some ancient techniques with easy modern methods and materials during the hands-on workshop.
Participants must be at least 13 years old, but no experience is necessary.
Join "Emeraldalicious" at 6 p.m. June 24 at Lowe-Volk Park, 2401 SR 598, Leesville. Joy Etter-Link plans to lead an active experience for kids into the park to help the environment.
