Sharon L. Saxton, 70, of Fostoria, died Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Bridge Hospice, Bowling Green.
Sharon was born May 9, 1943, in Fostoria, to Donald and Thelma (Hoover) Saxton.
Sharon is survived by a brother, Gary (Connie) Saxton of Tiffin; three nephews, Brian (Beth) Saxton and Nicholas Saxton, both of Tiffin, and Matthew (Teresa) Saxton of Williamsburg, Va.; and a great-nephew, Ben Saxton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Saxton.
She was a 1961 graduate of Fostoria High School and received an associate's degree in early childhood education from Owens Community College.
Sharon retired from Children's Discovery Center, Perrysburg, and prior to that, she worked for 23 years at Airfoil Textron, Fostoria. She was a longtime member of Upper Room Church of God, Findlay, where she was very involved and a Sunday school teacher for many years.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2013, at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin. Bishop Terry McBeath will be officiating.
