CAREY - Carey Area Chamber of Commerce is planning a community business showcase 5-7:30 p.m. Aug. 1 during the Carey Fest Homecoming Celebration at the Waterworks Park Main Pavilion.
The event is to feature area businesses and their products and services as well as the Carey High School's DECA Team project kickoff.
The chamber is inviting area businesses to participate. Picnic-style tables are to be provided for displaying information. Space is limited.
Deadline for registration is July 25. Pricing for chamber members is $30, and non-members is $60. Discounted space available is available for nonprofit organization.
In addition to the registration fee, participants are asked to provide a small door prize for a merchant drawing at the end of the event. Prizes are to be awarded to only full entry cards (provided by the Carey Chamber) filled out by people ages 18 and older.
