Timothy E. "Tim" Grine, 59, of Fostoria, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Cleveland Clinic.
He was born Feb. 28, 1954, in Fostoria, to Vernon E. and Carol (Walsh) Grine. He served his country in the U.S. Air force during the Vietnam era from June 1972 until May 1976.
He is survived by his father; wife, Louanne (Baker) Grine; three children, Rachael (Scott) Beidelschies of Tiffin, Kristen (fianc Doug Graham) of Fostoria and Jarrad (fiance Megan Potter) of Columbus; five grandchildren; two brothers, Tom (Karla) Grine and Ted (Robin) Grine, both of Fostoria; a sister, Lisa (Paul) Fretti of Toledo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and twin grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today, July 11, 2013, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, where a Christian wake service will begin at 3:45 p.m.
His Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, with the Rev. Nicholas Weibl celebrant. A rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria, where the United Veterans of Fostoria will provide military honors.
