The Advertiser-Tribune

Lucille (Letterhos) Warnement was reunited with her beloved husband, mother and other family members in God's eternal place Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013. She passed away in Chambersburg, Pa., where she lived with her son, Jerry, and daughter-in-law, Cindy.

She was born July 20, 1914, to Karl and Mable (Serin) Letterhos.

She is survived by one sister, Mary (Letterhos) Fox, and sister-in-law, Jeanne (Fox) Letterhos.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Helen Mann and Genevieve Smith; and brother, Charles "Chip" Letterhos.

"Lucy" graduated from Calvert High School in 1933 and her high school yearbook noted that she was best known for her genuineness, a quality she never compromised. After high school, she worked at Mercy Tiffin Hospital, Tiffin Art Metal, Tiffin Glass and Sears. During World War II, she served as an ordinance/munition inspector.

She married Herman Warnement in 1947 and lived in Newark and Canton. She always longed to return to Tiffin to be with her family and old friends. She is now home!

She was a dedicated wife, loving mother and devoted Catholic. She enjoyed church activities, baking and Black Velvet.

Her Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, with the Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin. A rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in memory of Lucille and Herman Warnement.

Condolences may be sent and the guestbook signed at
