Sonja J. Cleveland, 75, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 7, 2013, at her home.
She was born June 2, 1938, in Bloomville, to the late James and Mary (Prindle) Miller.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Stephenson of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Brenda (Phil) Reinhart of Tiffin; a brother, Charles (Dena) Miller of Tiffin; a sister, Kay (John) Ricker of Tiffin; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Sonja graduated in 1956 from Tiffin Columbian High School, was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and was an assistant manager at Dairy Mart for a few years. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, going to the theater and on trips, reading the Bible, watching Joel Osteen and Mother Angelica on television and reading books by Helen Steiner Rice.
After living in Colorado for a few years, she fell in love with the mountains. Sonja spoke her mind, was very independent and will be loved and missed by her family and all her friends she made everywhere.
There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at Charles Meadows Apartments, Tiffin.
