Russell Phillips shot a 50 for Carey, and the Blue Devils put up a 205, beating Calvert Monday at Mohawk Country Club.
Calvert only used three players, but one of them - Matt Huffman - shot a medal-winning 43.
The Blue Devils improved to 3-0.
H-L individuals, Lakota's team shine
NORTH BALTIMORE - Three Hopewell-Loudon players broke 80 and Lakota had the area's best finish Monday at the Elmwood Royal Invitational at Birch Run.
Bryce Gorrell fired a medalist round of 74 for H-L, which claimed a tight battle for third with a 346.
Jarid Gelinas and Aric Creeger each added a 78 for the Chieftains.
Meanwhile, McComb used twin 82s from Anthony Thepsourinthone and Drew Siferd as the springboard for beating Lakota 335-341 for the title.
Hunter Chalfin keyed Lakota with an 81 and Makayla Dull shot an 83.
Elmwood took fourth on a tiebreaker over St. Wendelin after both finished with a 347. Fostoria came in seventh (407) out of eight teams.
Peter Campbell's 82 led St. Wendelin and Joey DeHaven carded an 85.
Fostoria got a 98 from Tyler Agapiou and a 102 from Trey Yates and Robby Crotty.
Dunlap cards medalist round
BUCYRUS - Mohawk's Brayden Dunlap fired an 82 to lead the pack Monday at the Bucyrus Elks Invitational.
The Warriors finished eighth with a 404. Chet Margraf added a 98 for Mohawk. Ashland won the event.
Area teams struggle at Clyde Invite
CLYDE - Brad Heilman shot an 86 Monday to lead Old Fort to 12th at the 14-team Clyde Invitational at Green Hills.
Columbian ended ninth with a 358, the Stockaders shot a 379 and Seneca East finished with a 398.
Adam Alexander added a 93 for Old Fort.
