Philip Case, 90, of Upper Sandusky, died at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.
He was born July 27, 1922, in Wyandot County, to Fred H. and Naamah N. (Ludwig) Case. He married Wilma E. (Adams) Dec. 24, 1944, and she died Dec. 20, 1996. He then married Evie (Pagnard) Hall Case Dec. 30, 1999, and she survives.
Also surviving are the following children, Hal P. Case of Upper Sandusky and Mark (Sue) Case of Dayton; two stepchildren, Joe (Kris) Hall of Arvada, Colo., and Jurgen (Laura Hall) Haspelmann of Blelefeld, Germany; four grandchildren, Richard Case, Jennifer Yeater, Kimberly Williams and Nathan Case; two stepgrandchildren, Edward and Leni Haspelmann; and five great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Philip Case; and two sisters, Marie Sweigard and Jane Miller.
A memorial service for Philip will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Ken Wessler officiating.
Visitation will be 2-2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.
