Vicky L. McNutt, 57, of 101 Benton St., Lot 4, Sycamore, died peacefully surrounded by family and friends at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at home.
She was born Jan. 23, 1956, in Upper Sandusky, to Donald (Arlene) McNutt of McCutchenville and Sarah (Kelly) and Robert Curlis of rural Sycamore.
She is survived by the following children: Jennifer Nichols and friend Mike Ward of New Riegel, Tyson (Alicia) McNutt of Sycamore and Eric McNutt of Sycamore. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Rotella and friend Russ Boes of Upper Sandusky, and Tanya (Bill) O'Flaherty of rural Sycamore; a half sister, Carmen (Mike) Metzger of New Riegel; and a half brother, Andy (Brenda) McNutt of Tiffin. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews, especially one special niece, Marie Rotella, who helped take care of her.
She was preceded in death by a stepfather, Richard Moler.
Vicky worked at all the various nursing homes throughout Wyandot County during her lifetime. She was a social member of the Sycamore American Legion Post No. 250. She also was a 1974 graduate of Mohawk High School. She worked two summers at the concession stand at the Sycamore American Legion ballfield. For hobbies, she loved to work in her garden, swim and spend time with her family and friends.
Funeral services for Vicky will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Charles McGlone officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Wyandot County. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at the funeral home.
