Jamie C. Cooley, 33, of Bloomville, died at 6:04 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo.
Jamie was born Oct. 30, 1979, in Tiffin, to Keith Cooley of Tiffin and Robin (Athy) Marker of Tiffin. He married Lynn Smith Oct. 31, 2006, in Tiffin, and she survives in Bloomville.
Survivors also include his stepfather, Brian Marker of Tiffin; three children, Anthony Cooley, Lymesha Cooley and Jalyn Cooley, all of Bloomville; three brothers, Jason (Megan) Cooley of Lucas, Daniel Young of Tiffin and Robert (Wanda) LaChapelle of Michigan; maternal grandparents, Chuck (Shirley) Athy of Attica and Birdie (Jim) Kuhn of Attica; paternal grandfather, Charlie Fruth of Tiffin; and stepgrandmother, Nancy Marker of Fostoria.
Jamie loved demolition derbies and getting dirty. He loved spending time with his children and went out of his way to help anyone in need.
Jamie was preceded in death by his sister, Amesha Cooley; paternal grandmother, Millie Fruth; and maternal grandmother, Sandy Athy.
His funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, 135 N. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation for family and friends will be 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his children.
