Outlook: Mohawk had a respectable first season as a program, but building on that success won't be as easy as it might appear.

The Warriors had 10 seniors on last year's roster. They've since moved on, causing a bit of a shake-up on the field.

"It's gonna still be a little bit of a challenge. We had 10 seniors; they made up a lot of our starters," Wilkins said. "We're starting from scratch position-wise. Our defense looks pretty solid."

Wilkins said he expects Kohlenberg to take the lead offensively.

"Cambria was our leading goal scorer as a freshman, hopefully she'll be able to keep that trend this year," he said.

The coach said there is a possibility of the team improving from a year ago.

"There is potential for us to start matching the talent everybody has," he said. "There's definitely potential with this team. My theory is, let's work on continuous improvement and that's what I'm seeing."
