Outlook: Mohawk is very young.

How young?

The elder statesman of the roster is Dunlap.

And he's a sophomore.

But Dunlap is a proven player who Myers said has stepped into the role of the No. 1 player and performed.

"He had the lowest average of anybody on the team and this year he's picking up where he left off and is improving," Myers said. "He's the veteran, it's almost like a senior, because he's got a year under his belt."

Myers said he also likes what he has seen out of Margraf.

"Margraf has more experience than the rest of (the other freshmen) and he's showed it," he said.

Myers said he knew the team had potential coming in, but didn't expect it to be realized this quickly.

"It's been going great," Myers said. "The kids have been working really hard and are open to being coached. The improvement I've seen is amazing."
