"Tiffin University offered me the opportunity to further grow and advance professionally. My family and I are very pleased to have the support and confidence of the university," Marinis said.
In his new position, he is to supervise the Office of the Registrar, director of Academic Advising, director of the Student Success Center and Disability Services, the success coaches, and the office of Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Services and chief retention officer.
"Tiffin University has a long tradition of offering a high quality education, coupled with innovation," Marinis said. "I hope to continue to build upon the rich history of TU and advance the institution's entrepreneurial spirit."
Marinis said, "We will continue collaboration between various departments and divisions across campus to increase student satisfaction, the educational experience, and persistence to graduation."
Marinis said in a release that anyone who steps on Tiffin University's campus can attest to feeling immediately welcomed.
"To me, TU is a community of caring individuals striving to promote a learning environment," he said. "We will work together as an institution and community to provide high quality academic programs, continue to diversify our modalities of delivery for academic programs and work individually with students to ensure their academic goals are being achieved.'
