A woman who allegedly stabbed her son in the abdomen in July has pleaded not guilty to charges of felonious assault and aggravated assault.
Brenda K. Baxter, 55, who was indicted on the charges by a Seneca County grand jury, also had her bond set at $30,000 during her court appearance, according to court documents.
Baxter was arrested July 3 after allegedly stabbing her son, Ralph W. Pope Jr., 33, in the abdomen at their West SR 18 residence.
The pair had gotten in an argument prior to the stabbing.
Following the stabbing, Pope was transported to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital and then taken by Life Flight to The Toledo Hospital.
