Norma J. Lang

Norma J. Lang, 85, of Bascom, passed away early Sunday morning, Sept. 8, 2013, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

She was born Dec. 26, 1927, in Findlay, to the late Robert and Rose (Distel) Frankart. She married Alvin A. Lang June 5, 1948.

Survivors include her husband, Alvin; one son, Craig (Karen) Lang of Bascom; three grandchildren, Matt, Josh and Katie Lang; and one great-grandchild, Brady Lang.

Norma was a member of Sts. Patrick and Andrew Catholic Church and was a graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School. After high school, she opened Norma's Beauty Shop in 1964, where she worked for 45 years. She was a member of the Rosary Alter Society, and loved to sew and make flower arrangements for around the house.

Her Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Sts. Patrick and Andrew Catholic Church, Bascom, with the Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. A rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian wake service will begin at 4:45 p.m.

Donations may be made to Sts. Patrick and Andrew Catholic Church, Hopewell-Loudon Athletic Boosters or a charity of the donor's choice.
