FOSTORIA - Due to inclement weather on the original date, the Fostoria Area Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled its 11th annual Antique and Classic Chamber Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show for noon-4 p.m. Saturday at the Fostoria High School parking lot, 1202 HL Ford Drive, Fostoria.
Registration runs 10-11:45 a.m.
The mayor is to give a proclamation for the 100th anniversary of the Allen Car, manufactured in Fostoria from 1913-21. There are only seven U.S. owners of the Allen Car that was manufactured locally. All owners of antique or vintage cars are invited to participate. The first 100 registrations are to receive dash plaques. At 3:30 p.m., 27 trophies are to be presented, including a Best in Show and Award of Excellence.
There are to be 50/50 drawings and door prize drawings. DJ Kalen Bloom with Rhythm N Bloom are to spin tunes.
WKXA is planning a live broadcast from 2-4 p.m. and several local vendors are to sell food and drinks. A car market similar to a farmers' market is to be set up with vendors selling automotive products.
