The Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation was called to assist Attica police Thursday morning after a man was found dead in a vehicle at an East High Street residence. Law enforcement processes the scene under the tent at left.
Upon arrival, the man was found dead, Turner said.
He said the man, whose identity has not been released, did not have visible injuries. Turner said the man, in his mid-30s, is from Tiffin.
Turner said the residence belongs to the man's friend, who called law enforcement to report finding him unresponsive.
Turner said a search warrant was executed at the residence Thursday and the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation is assisting in the investigation. They were still at the scene Thursday evening processing evidence, Turner said.
He said the death is being viewed as suspicious. An autopsy is scheduled at the Lucas County Coroner's Office, Turner said.
