Arnold R. Donegan, 75, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at Mount Carmel East Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born June 1, 1938, in Dunkirk, the son of the late Edward and Bertha (Messenger) Donegan. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1967. Before moving to Newark, he was a resident of Tiffin, where he retired from Excel Wire and Cable Co.
Arnold is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Carolyn Donegan of Newark; two grandchildren, Brandon and Kenneth Donegan; four brothers, James (Brenda) Donegan of Marion, Tom Donegan of Kenton, Ray (Melissa) Donegan of Lakeview and Charles (Barb) Donegan of Findlay; three sisters, Mary (the Rev. Ted) Elrod of Leesburg, Ala., Ann Fenstermaker of Findlay and Helen (Jon) Stefanka of Rawson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial reception for Mr. Donegan will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, OH 43055, (740) 366-3343.
