Carol Jeanne White, 71, of Delaware, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at her home, of a heart attack, the result of the effects of muscular dystrophy.
She was born Nov. 12, 1941, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Charles Frederick and Helen (Adams) Brouse. She married Wallace White in 1963.
She is survived by her husband; two sons, Philip (Amy) of Beach City and David of Marion; a daughter, Laura (Trenton) Merricks of Charlottesville, Va.; five grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen (Mark) Hayman of Tiffin; a brother-in-law, Paul (Nanette) White of Marion; and two sisters-in-law, Rudy Gilbert of Mount Gilead and Margaret (Don) West of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Rebecca Benedict; and daughter-in-law, Beverly White.
Arrangements are being handled by Robinson Funeral Home where calling hours will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013.
Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Valleyview Evangelical Friends Church, 868 W. William St., Delaware, with the Rev. Joshua Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
Following burial, a reception for family and friends will be at 1 p.m. in the Summit Room at Willowbrook at Delaware Run, 100 Delaware Crossing West.
