Tiffin City Council and Clinton Township candidates are to face off at Candidates Night 7-8:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at Tiffin Middle School.
This year, the following candidates are to be in attendance: Tiffin City Council president, Rich Cline and Mark Pardi; Tiffin City Council-at-large, Jim Green, Mark D. Hayes, Steven Lepard and Tyler Shuff; and Clinton Township trustee, James K. Distel, Dennis E. Moyer, Brandon Steinmetz and James Warnement.
Candidates are to answer questions in a rotating order, with answers limited to one minute. Candidates are not allowed opening statements or rebuttals. Each candidate will be given one minute for a closing statement.
Paul Harrison is to moderate the forum.
Judge Mark Repp is to give a presentation regarding the Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court. Also planned is a presentation by Steve Snavely, candidate for Governing Board of Education Service Center North Central Ohio 2nd District.
There also is to be a presentation on Clinton Township's proposed resolution of a governmental electricity aggregation program with opt-out provisions.
