Cameron Joseph St. Clair, 17, of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Toledo Children's Hospital, Toledo, Ohio.
He was born March 27, 1996, in Fostoria to Lawrence P. and Sheryl J. (Birkmire) St. Clair.
Surviving are his parents; two brothers, Jonathan L. St. Clair of Cleveland and Logan P. St. Clair of Fostoria; a sister, Meghan E. St. Clair of Columbus; maternal grandparents, Robert and Jo Birkmire of Fostoria; and paternal grandparents, David (the late Patricia) St. Clair of Laguna Woods, Calif.

Cameron was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Fostoria. He was a senior at Hopewell-Loudon High School, where he was a former member of the marching band. He was a varsity letter winner in football and threw discus and shot for the track and field team. He also studied public safety at Sentinel Career and Technology Center.
Cameron was a funny, talkative, polite young man who loved being with people and had a special fondness for animals, specifically his cat, Sherbert. He wanted to help people and aspired to be in public service, a state trooper, like his father. He had plans to attend Bowling Green State University and get his bachelor's degree in criminal justice.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at Hope Lutheran Church 151 W. Center St., Fostoria, with the Rev. Dr. Larry Knigga presiding.
Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery in Fostoria.
