Audrey E. Lott, 110, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday evening, Oct. 31, 2013, at St. Frances Home.
She was born Oct. 18, 1903, in Washington, D.C., to Louis and Estelle (Burwell) Brown. She married Clentis Lott in 1947, he preceded her in death.
Survivors include six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several great-great and great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Grant Taylor; brother, Louis; and three sisters, Anna, Edna, and Abby.
Audrey was a member of Hopewell Church of God, graduated from Dunbar High School, Washington, D.C., and then attended a year of Pharmaceutical College before dropping out to take care of her family. She was housekeeper for area families and appreciated the simple things in life. Audrey enjoyed being outside, laughter and joy, reading, "westerns," crocheting, crossword puzzles, cooking, and most of all children and family.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Pastor Terry Steinhauer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
