Roger E. Fredritz, 49, of Carey, died Friday evening, Nov. 1, 2013, in rural Carey.
He was born Sept. 19, 1964, in Findlay, to Henry H. and Mary E. (Azira) Fredritz.
Surviving are five siblings, John (Mary) Fredritz of Carey, June (Rick) Gottfried of Upper Sandusky, Chuck (Carol) Fredritz of Carey, Harold (Joan) Fredritz of McCutchenville and Dale (Annie) Fredritz of Carey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at Basilica of Our Lady of Consolation in Carey, with the Rev. Xavier Goulet OFM Conv. officiating.
Following the Mass, the family would like to extend an invitation to join them at the Carey V.F.W. to help them celebrate Roger's life. They feel a time of food and fellowship is needed to help his family and friends comfort one another at this most difficult time.
A private burial of Roger's ashes will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery near Carey at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given for a Carey FFA scholarship to be given in Roger's name in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St. Carey, OH. 43316.
