James W. Mileto, 64, of rural Sycamore, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at home.
He was born July 30, 1949, in Logan County, W.Va., to Mae Mileto. He married Marge Mileto and she died in 1999. He then married Judy (Gase) Mileto Sept, 6, 2003, and she survives.
Surviving are the following stepchildren, Brian (Michelle) Newland of Vanceboro, N.C., Jim Newland of Delaware, Matt (Jodi) Newland of Virginia Beach, Va., Steve (Sarah) Newland of Tiffin, Nick (Chris) Newland of Delaware, Amy (Keenan) Aldrich of Fostoria and Todd Newland of Columbus; one grandson; 14 stepgrandchildren; and five, George (Carolyn) Underwood of Lake, W.Va., Joe (Evelyn) Mileto of Pennsylvania and Betty Torres, Linda Hall and Tammy Hall, all of Cleveland.
He also was preceded in death by his mother; a daughter, Kelley Mileto who died in April 2011; one brother; and one sister.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1970 during the Vietnam War era.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Rick Dawson officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
