OLD FORT - Old Fort battled past Cory-Rawson in the fourth quarter Saturday to stay unbeaten with a 45-39 win.
The teams ended the third quarter tied at 30, but Peyton Miller scored nine of her game-high 18 points in the final period to help the Stockaders (8-0) pull away.
Alli Adelsperger added nine points and Sam Hartsel grabbed five rebounds for Old Fort.
Kiley Scott's 16 points and Aubrey VanStein's eight paced the Hornets.
Ladd, Arbogast fuel Blue Jackets
ADA - Lauren Ladd and Taylor Arbogast combined for 23 points and 19 rebounds Saturday in New Riegel's 48-32 win over Ada.
Ladd led the way by scoring 10 of her team-high 12 points in the second half. She also grabbed 10 rebounds. Arbogast chipped in 11 points and nine boards for the Blue Jackets (9-1).
Kara Scherger scored 11 points, Taylor Kirian dished three assists and Morgan Noftz snared three steals.
Tori Wyss sparked the Bulldogs (5-4) with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Alexis Amburgy added 11 points.
Chieftains inch above .500 mark
BASCOM - Hopewell-Loudon churned out a 53-32 win Saturday, with three players combining to outscore Woodmore.
Aleta Daniel keyed the Chieftains (4-3) with 14 points, Hope Brickner netted 11 points and Brook Arbogast tossed in eight points.
Courtney Burns hauled in six rebounds for H-L.
Allie Wank scored 10 points for the Wildcats, who only went 14 for 61 from the field. Grace Weirich and Jordan Williams both added seven points.
Warriors throttle Bowsher
Ally Weinandy outscored Toledo Bowsher by herself Saturday as Mohawk rolled to a 61-15 win.
Weinandy tossed in 18 points for the Warriors, who also got 13 points from Julie Adelsperger and eight each from Brooke Weinandy and Kasey Adelsperger.
Megan Cleveland ripped down 11 rebounds, Taylor McClain registered seven assists and four steals, Clara Adelsperger had four steals and three assists, Julie Adelsperger snared four steals and Charlotte Moes grabbed three steals.
Ross rides early surge
FREMONT - Fremont Ross led 19-9 at the first stop and cruised from there Saturday in beating Fostoria 63-45.
Val Samson scored 14 points and snared five steals for the Little Giants (5-3), Erin Slaughter netted 10 points, Shaina Kiser tallied nine points and eight rebounds and Abbi Hasselbach turned in eight points and four assists.
Erica Moore paced the Redmen (1-7) with 13 points and 10 boards. Jada Hampton added nine points, Kierra Settles scored eight points and Olivia Valenti had eight points, three assists and three steals.
