NORWALK - Calvert stayed close for much of the first half, but a big third quarter by Norwalk St. Paul left the Senecas behind.
The Flyers outscored Calvert 20-8 in the third quarter to break the game open, and won 56-31.
Bob Harwood led the Flyers with 14 points, while Derek Furlong and Travis Smiley added 11.
Calvert (3-7) was paced by Drew Ritzler's 10 points. Mike Bennett and Austin Ball each added six points.
The Senecas were 9 of 14 from the foul line. The Flyers were 9 of 14 from the stripe, but made 14 more shots from the floor.
Mohawks quiet Thunder
MONCLOVA - St. Wendelin took advantage of Monclova Christian's offensive woes in the first half and Gabe Walters' double-double Saturday to claim a 53-43 win.
Walters tallied 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Mohawks (5-5), who entered intermission up 34-19.
Brady Rutter chipped in 13 points, six boards and three assists, Nick Root had 12 points and four assists, Steven Murray snared three steals and Peter Campbell dished three assists.
Tom LaChance's 19 points and 10 boards topped the Thunder.
Matt Cousino added seven points and 10 rebounds and Tim LaChance had seven points and three assists.
Bucks jump out quickly
MOUNT BLANCHARD - Buckeye Central doubled up Riverdale in the first quarter and got a double-double from Sam Robertson in Saturday's 71-56 North Central Conference win.
Robertson fueled the Bucks (10-1, 5-1 NCC) with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Austin Wurm added an overall solid effort with a game-high 27 points, seven boards and five steals for Buckeye Central, which led 22-11 at the first stop.
Cade Kaple and Stone Wurm each netted another 10 points, with Kaple adding seven rebounds and six assists. Scott Heydinger chipped in three steals and three assists.
The Falcons (4-7, 1-5) got 20 points and three assists from Tyson Frey. Jimmy Fox scored 11 points and Chad Pever turned in six steals and three assists.
Vanlue rallies back in 2nd half
VANLUE - Vanlue capped a second-half comeback by outscoring Hopewell-Loudon by six in the fourth quarter for a 39-37 win.
The Wildcats (3-7) trailed 19-6 at halftime, but outscored H-l 33-18 in the final two periods.
Austin Smith tallied 14 points and three assists for Vanlue, Jacob Coldren had 10 points and six rebounds and Nick Hagerty turned in eight points and four assists.
The Chieftains (6-7) dominated the boards 39-17, but only attempted three foul shots, making two. Vanlue went 6 for 10 at the line.
Tyler Imes paced H-L with 11 points and nine rebounds, and Ryan Lommerse chipped in 10 points, eight boards and three steals.
Patriots toss aside Mohawk
HAMLER - A.J. Wagner poured in 32 points Saturday as Patrick Henry drilled Mohawk 57-48.
Alex Scheele backed Wagner with 13 points and Andrew Willford added 12 points and seven rebounds for the Patriots (2-9), who went 23 for 30 from the field.
Brayden Dunlap's 17 points sparked the Warriors (1-9). Mitch Parker scored 11 points and Gunnar Johnson chipped in eight.
