Robyn K. Hodgkinson, 45, of Huron, died unexpectedly, Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014.
She was born Oct. 20, 1968, in Port Clinton and had been a resident of Huron for the past nine years. She graduated from Old Fort High School and Bowling Green State University. She was employed by Dermatology Partners, Sandusky.
Robyn volunteered for Stein Hospice Services, Sandusky, and enjoyed helping with Camp Good Grief through Stein Hospice where she touched the lives of countless people. She found great peace and tranquility by being close to the Lake Erie area.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Hodgkinson of Huron; two daughters, Taylor and Dannyel Hodgkinson, both of Sandusky; a son, Alex Hodgkinson of Sandusky; four sisters, Becki Heilman of Toledo, Kathy Huff of Sandusky, Janet Chapman of Tiffin and Barbara Houser of Norwalk; three brothers, Ron Dye of Fostoria, David Heilman of Kansas and Bryan Heilman of Bloomdale; and her godfather, Richard Rothert Jr. of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Rothert Heilman; a brother, Randal Dye; and her maternal grandparents.
Her memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. today, Jan. 23, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky.
