Mildred M. Ohler, 83, of Bellevue, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born July 4, 1930, in Seneca Township, Seneca County, to Leo and Mary (Elchert) Trausch. She married John H. Ohler Nov. 6, 1948, at Greenup, Ky., and he preceded her in death Feb. 23, 2004.
Survivors include two daughters, Paulette (David) Schank and Cheryl (James) Wagner, both of Republic; two sons, John Ohler of Rineyville, Ky., and Danny Ohler of Republic; a sister, Germaine Bland of Carey; eight grandchildren, Kelly, Kory, Danny Jr., Tonya, Rusty, Ryan, Michael and Misty; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kyle; eight brothers; and three sisters.
Mildred worked as an inspector at Bellevue Lamp Plant, Bellevue, for more than 30 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Attica, the Republic and Bellevue Senior Citizen Clubs, and a 1948 graduate of McCutchenville High School. She also enjoyed playing cards, gardening and fishing.
Her funeral will begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville, with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Farewell Retreat Cemetery, Republic.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday and one hour before her funeral, both at the funeral home.
