Heidelberg University's Office of Civic Engagement would like to thank the Tiffin community for its continuous support.
Jan. 20, the university took part in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Although students did not have class, we had approximately 60 volunteers (which also included faculty/staff) serve eight agencies in the area. In order to kick off our event, we had the help of the Rev. Paul Stark, Heidelberg President Rob Huntington and Mayor Aaron Montz.
Agencies included American Red Cross of Seneca County, Tiffin Developmental Center, First Lutheran Church, Good Shepherd Home, New Housing Ohio (two locations), St. Paul's Ecumenical Sharing Kitchen, Trinity United Church of Christ and United Way.
Thank you to all who participated in some way during our time of service learning. We strive to give back to the community that has supported us for so many years!
