MCL to close for Presidents Day

SYCAMORE - The Mohawk Community Library is to close Feb. 17 in observance of Presidents Day.

T-SPL reschedules knitting, Lego events

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library has rescheduled Basic Knitting Sock Class to 1:30-3:30 p.m. today in the Frost-Kalnow room.

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library's junior department has rescheduled the Lego Contest for 1 p.m. Saturday in the Frost-Kalnow room.

T-SPL to present presidental birthday party

The American Civil War Museum of Ohio and the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library are partnering to host a "President Lincoln's Birthday Party" 1-3 p.m. Feb. 15 at the museum, located at 217 S. Washington St.

The program is to feature Civil War period activities including storytelling, playing games, listening to music and making birthday cards. Refreshments also are to be provided.

The program is $3 per child and parents are free. Registration is required by Feb. 12.

Open knitting sessions at T-SPL

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host open knitting for knitters of all skill levels 1:30-3:30 p.m. Feb. 9, 16 and 23 in the Frost-Kalnow room.

Participants are to bring their own yarn, needles and project.

No registration is required.

Early literacy program sets date

The next date for Babies & Books is 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.

The program features stories, rhymes, songs, and finger plays.

Parents or caregivers and babies, age birth to 24 months old are asked to sign up for one session of language enrichment activities beginning Feb. 4.

Themed fun nights at Bliss library

BLOOMVILLE - The Bliss Memorial Public Library is to host a series of Fun Nights at 6:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 10 with "Will You Be My Valentine?"

The next scheduled event is "It's Your Lucky Day" March 10.

MCL reschedules Lego party for boys

SYCAMORE - Due to the weather, the Boys' Lego Party at Mohawk Community Library has been rescheduled to 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.

SYCAMORE - The Mohawk Community Library is to host a Valentine's Family Fun Night at 6 p.m. Feb. 10.

Library day at Bob Evans

SYCAMORE - The Mohawk Community Library is to celebrate MCL Day from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. Feb. 13 at Tiffin and Upper Sandusky Bob Evans locations.

Patrons can pick up a flyer at the library to present and get 15 percent of the sale donated to the library.

Celebrate the love of chocolate Feb. 15 at Mohawk library

SYCAMORE - The Chocolate Extravaganza is to be at the Mohawk Community Library at 1 p.m. Feb. 15.

Patrons can bring their favorite chocolate creation.

Table service and drinks are to be provided.

Gears of War tourney planned for age 16 and older

SYCAMORE - The Mohawk Community Library is to host a mature-only Gears of War Judgment tournament beginning in February.

The tournament is to take place March 8.

Participants are to be at least 16 years old to play.

Part two of Christmas book discussion set

SYCAMORE - Joe Weininger is to host a book discussion on the second part of the Christmas Jars Reunion at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 18.

MCL to host D&D day

SYCAMORE - The Mohawk Community Library is to host Dungeons & Dragons at 10 a.m. Feb. 22.

Snacks and drinks are to be served.

Free health screenings Feb. 10 in Bellevue

BELLEVUE - The Bellevue Public Library is to have Health Clinic screenings from 10 a.m.-noon Feb. 10.

Nurses are to be on hand to check blood sugar and blood pressure free of charge.

Storytime series to be rescheduled

BELLEVUE - Series dates for preschool and toddler story time have been changed due to weather-related issues.
