TU students to show talents
Friday Night Live returns to The National Theatre at The Ritz at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Musical groups from Tiffin University's music program are to be featured.

SANDUSKY - Cedar Point is to conduct open auditions for performers and technicians for the 2014 season. The auditions are to run 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday in the Cedar Point Live Entertainment Office, One Cedar Point Drive, Sandusky.
Positions are open for a variety of performers, including singers, dancers, musicians, technicians with prop development skills, actors, including improvisational and character, costume characters, karaoke hosts, DJs and more.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by May to audition. Each audition song selection should be limited to 16-32 bars. Actors should prepare a 60-second monologue appropriate for family-park patrons. Singers and musicians should select music that is upbeat and illustrates their skill, personality and ability to interact with audience members.

FREMONT - Open auditions for Fremont Community Theatre's May production of "The Drowsy Chaperone" will be 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the theater, 1551 Dickinson St., Fremont.
Those auditioning should prepare 16-32 measures of a Broadway-style song. An accompanist will be provided and there will be readings from the script.

'Vertigo' coming to The Ritz
The next installment in The Ritz Theatre's "Golden Age of Hollywood" film series is the 1958 thriller, "Vertigo."
The Alfred Hitchcock movie is to be shown at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
All seats are $3. The theater is at 30 S. Washington St.
'Miss Daisy' cast established
BUCYRUS - Bucyrus Little Theatre has announced the cast for "Driving Miss Daisy."
Renee Caserta is to play Miss Daisy, Dann Johns is her son, Boolie, and Romeo Eggleton is Miss Daisy's chauffeur, Hoke. Directed by Scott Painter, "Driving Miss Daisy" takes the stage March 7-8 and 14-15 at 7:30 p.m. and March 9 and 16 at 2:30 p.m.
The theater is at 130 Songer Ave., Bucyrus.
Benefit to support festival
A dinner to benefit the 2014 Tiffin Music and Art Festival is set for noon-6 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Tiffin Eagles on Riverside Drive.
Each dinner includes a grilled half-chicken, baked beans, cole slaw and a roll at a cost of $10 per adult and $7 per child age 10 and younger. Carry-outs are available. A cash bar is to be open.
Local artist Chelsea Bickelhaupt will do live painting, and a 50/50 drawing is to take place. Last June, 13 original songs performed at the festival were recorded and included on a 2013 TM&AF compilation. The CD will be playing during the benefit. Copies are to be available at Bailiwick's Coffee Co. in the coming months for $5.
This year's festival is scheduled for June 20-22 in Hedges-Boyer Park.
