Thanks for support
New Riegel Right to Life would like to thank everyone who braved the weather and supported life by attending our breakfast.
Cheryl Boes, secretary
New Riegel Right to Life,
Be a good neighbor
Yes, there has been a lot of snow this year; and winter isn't over yet, so we can expect more.
I am fortunate enough to have a couple of good neighbors. They are two young men, one lives across the street and the other next door. I haven't had to shovel any snow this year. As a matter of fact, it's been several years since I've shoveled snow. They always take care of it for me and they refuse to accept any payment.
I want to encourage young people who have senior citizens as neighbors to give them a hand during this winter weather.
Actually, it doesn't necessarily have to be a neighbor, but any senior you know. Doctors will tell you elderly people should not be outside shoveling snow.
So I just want to express my appreciation and say "thank you" to Jerri and Mark, my good neighbors. I hope more young people would follow their example and give their neighbor and other senior citizens a hand.
Thank you to Tiffin Eagles
On behalf of Sentinel Career and Technology Center, I would like to sincerely thank the Tiffin Eagles Aerie 402 for its truly generous donation of $3,000 to Sentinel. Your contribution will help to make it possible for us to assist students in need.
Your continued support of Sentinel Career and Technology Center is greatly appreciated. Because of your generosity, we are able to further our mission of educating youth while they prepare for college and careers.
Again, thank you so much for your kindness and consideration.

Walkway lighting a blessing
An open letter to say "thank you, thank you, thank you" to the City of Tiffin Parks Department for the wonderful idea of lighting up the night at Oakley Park.
Clouse Construction and Electric did an outstanding job in this past week doing the final connections, which will be a blessing for us all who use the walkway at the park.
We took the first evening walk tonight, and it was more than just light, it was picturesque, to say the least.
Thank you for this, progressive city of Tiffin, Ohio,
Bonnie and Bill Steinmetz.
