Learn about soup at the library

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to host "Let's Warm up with Soup!" at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Frost Kalnow room.

Ruth Anne Musgrave, retired family and consumer science educator from the Ohio State University Extension Office, is to present the program. Patrons can learn new ideas for making soups during the winter months.

Book group rescheduled

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library has rescheduled "Let's Talk About It Book Discussion" to 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Junior Home room.

The book to be discussed is "Atomic Girls" by Denise Kiernan.

Copies of the book are available at the information desk.

Organization program at T-SPL

Part two of the Get Organized program is to be presented at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.

Reannon Hayes, a local professional organizer, is to focus on desk space, filing and paper clutter.

A door prize is to be available.

Build from books at Lego Saturday

Lego Saturday is 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.

The program is for all ages. The library is to provided Duplo Blocks for children ages 2 to 4 and Legos for ages 4 and up.

The theme for February is your favorite book.

Learn how to make loop bracelets

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library's teen department is to host "Get Loopy @ Your Library" 3:30-5 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Frost Kalnow room.

The program is for students in grades six through high school senior. Featured during the program are activities such as making rubber band loop bracelets and listening to music.

Refreshments are to be provided.

The Tiffin-Seneca Public Library is to offer adult computer classes in March.

Registration has begun and is required as space is limited.

The list of classes include:

Library eBooks, 1-2:30 p.m. March 6.

Basic Computing, 6-8 p.m. March 11.

Beginning Word, 2-3:30 p.m. March 12.

Intro to Excel, 2-3:30 p.m. March 13.

Beginning Internet, 6-8 p.m. March 25.

Email for Beginners, 2-3:30 p.m. March 26.

Intermediate Excel, 2-3:30 p.m. March 27.

Tiffin-Seneca Public Library's adult discussion group "Let's Talk About It" is to discuss "The Ocean at the End of the Lane" by Neil Gaiman at 10:30 a.m. March 6 in the Junior Home room.

BELLEVUE - The Bellevue Public Library's Adult Book Discussion is to focus on "The Mermaid Garden" by Santa Montefiore at 7 p.m. Feb. 18.

Seniors can get health care help

BELLEVUE - A certified navigator from the Ohio Association of Foodbanks is to provide assistance to individuals enrolling in a health care plan on the federal insurance marketplace, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Bellevue Public Library.

BELLEVUE - The Bellevue Public Library is to offer AARP Tax Preparation Help for seniors 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 21.

Help also is available for those with an income of less than $50,000.

Learn about Pinterest at Clyde

CLYDE - Christie Armstrong is to present I "Heart" Pinterest at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Clyde Public Library.

Armstrong is to teach patrons about Pinterest and how to fold a bird house from a paperback book.

Registration is required and the program is free. Participants are asked to bring scissors and paper.

Digital library offered

CLYDE - Clyde Public Library has announced the availability of Zinio for Libraries, providing cover-to-cover digital editions of more than 90 popular magazines. The magazines can be read on a PC/MAC browser or downloaded to tablets or smartphones using free Zinio apps.

Through clydelibrary.org, patrons of the Clyde Public Library are to have access to complete digital magazines available to users the same day the print edition is available. There are no holds, no due dates and no limit on the number of users accessing each issue. Users also can bookmark and print pages.

The library has prepared step-by-step instructions on setting up accounts which are available at the library or at clydelibrary.org.
